A typical Sardinian product and one of the oldest pasta of this region. It is made by adding pure water to our and rubbing it in a circular motion to obtain a small spherical shaped pasta. The pasta is than sorted by size in 3 categories: small, medium, large. Finally it is toasted in oven to reach the typical golden colour and flavour. Ideal for soups, dishes with sauces, as a side dish or on its own cooked like a risotto.
