St. Pauls

St. Pauls Winery was founded in 1907 and has been producing great wine with passion ever since.

A wine should be an expression of its origin – its terroir – in which the climate, soil conditions, tradition and attitude to life of the region are combined. It should reflect the extraordinary character of the sites where the grapes are grown, and St. Pauls is one of the most beautiful wine growing areas in South Tyrol.

Protected by the Alps and benefiting from 1800 hours of sunshine a year, with very warm days and cool nights during the ripening period, the vineyards produce fantastic, fully ripe grapes.

To protect this environment St. Pauls winery has adopted energy saving machinery, and uses power from renewable energy sources. 60% of the electricity used is supplied by a photovoltaic system. The winery also uses a gravitation system that moves the product within the winery using gravitational force and saves electricity.
